Conflicts/ Problems

1) Around 3000 B.C., when Sita was born, in a small village called Rajastan, a disease had entered the village. Sita had a best friend named Amba, Amba was seven years older than Sita's seven years. Amba and Sita had been drinking out of the polluted river. Sita was somehow spared but Amba caught the disease. Amba vomitted blood in the last two days of her life, and Sita could only sit and watch her die. Sita's sorrow was great since Amba was 8 months pregant at the time. Even thought Sita was her best friend she didn't tell her who the father was, she never told anyone. When she died, her body should have been cremated, offered to Vishnu, and her ashes thrown in the river. But recently an Aghoran preist had entered her village, he had other ideas for the body. The priestbrought his ideas, many listened to him because of their fears for the plague. The priest said that the plague was a result of an evil rakshasa or demon that had taken offense at their worship for the great God Vishnu. He said the only way to free the village was to call forth an even greater being, a ykshini, and persuade it to eat the rakshasa. Some thought the idea was reasonable, but many others, including Sita felt that if God couldn't protct them how could a yaksnini? The people knew that the yaksnini did not have love for humanity, but the priest said he could handle him, and so he was allowed to continue with his plans. The priest chose Amba's body since her late pregnancy attracted him. Sita was a child at the time, but she could see something in the priests eyes that was cold and uncaring. Women were not allowed to attend the ceremoney. Since Sita was worried what they were going to do with her friend's body, she sneaked into the woods in the middle of the night and hid behind a boulder, where they would perform the Invocation. It began, the priest had prepared Amba's body and he started a lon repitious chant. Each time the priest completed the verse he would hit Amba's belly with a long sharp stick. It was like if he was trying to wake her up, or something inside her. This went for a long time, but soon Amba's belly began to bleed. This frightened the men since she bled like if she were a living person. Sita new this couldn't happen since she witnessed when Ama died.
2) Suddenly something came. A smell worsened, and the men began to mutter aloud that they should stop. The priest began to laugh, but stopped when Amba suddenly sat up. She was hiedous, her face dripped blood, her eyes bulged from her head as if pushed out from the inside, her grin widened over her teeth as if pulled by wire, and worst of all was her tongue. It stetched much longer than any human tongue could, almost like a foot, curling and liking the air. As Sita watched in horrow, she knew she was watching a yakshini come to life. The thing turned to the priest, and he no longer looked confident. The yakshnini crackled like a hyena and grabbed the priest. The priest screamed but no one helped. The yakshnini licked the poor man's face, and his screams gagged in his throat. For wherever the demon licked him, his skin would be pulled off of him. Soon the priest was faceless, in a mass of gore. Ten the demon pulled his arms onto the priest skull and pullled the priest head until it was twisted onto his back. When the priest fell down dead, Sita could tell that he saw her behind the boulder. It's cold eyes felt like cold knives pressing through her eyes. Thankfully, the monster closed its eyes and Amba's body layed back down. Sit'as father was brave enough to stand next to the body and poke it with a stick, he poked the priest, but it was clear that the man was dead. Then Sita's father noticed that something was moving inside Amba's belly. Amba was not dead or if she was, her child was not. Sit'as father grabbed a knife and was about to cut the infant out of Amba's womb.Thats when Sita ran to her father, not wanting the child come into the world. Her father opposed and then Sita didn't know what was right. Sita's father saved the infant, it was a male. Sita refused to carry it, but she named it. She named is Yaksha since it has a heart of a yakshnini. Father gave Yaksha to Sita's aunt to care for. She treated it as her own, he was a beautiful baby. Dark hair and pale blue eyes. He grew much faster than Sita, and was much smarter. He would always persuade her to talk to him, and he would always have a little gift for her. Sita was attracted to him, but occasionally she would catch a disturbing glimmer in his eyes, and reminded of her of that smile the Yashnini had, Soon the 6 men who witnessed Yaksha's birth disapeared, and soon her father did too. One of the men was found gored to death as if by a wild animal. Soon Sita had fallen in love with a man named Rama. She had a child which she would only have joy for a year. One night Sita heard a sound outside, she followed it. She knew it was Yaksha, before she could scream he covered her mouth. He confessed that he killed her father but only because he didnt want to join him.
3) Yaksha Asked Sita if she wanted to join him, she refused, until he threatened her. He told her if he didnt join him he would kill her family. She couldnt allow that. Sita said yes, and he mixed their bloods together, and she soon became like him. The first female vampire.
